Home Office statistics on hate crime, released today, show that recorded race hate crimes have risen 15% since last year. Also, recorded religion hate crimes have risen 43% since last year.
In total, 82% of recorded hate crimes last year were race hate crimes and 6% of recorded hate crimes were religion hate crimes.
